HOUSTON, TEXAS

LifeGift, a non-profit organ and tissue donation organization, purchased an existing building from a private school near the Texas Medical Center in order to bring their administrative and surgical operations together at a single location. The total building renovation included new cladding for the exterior, 20,000 square feet of renovated interior space, a new 100 car parking lot, and new landscaping including a courtyard and donor garden. A 4,500 square foot addition was built to reconfigure the former backside of the building into a new entrance. The former entrance became an enclosed, private parking lot for physician and ambulance access. m ARCHITECTS worked in association with Burwell Architects, who served as the interior architect.
