HOUSTON, TEXAS

The Houston Public Library commissioned m ARCHITECTS to design an eLibrary for inclusion in a new neighborhood Multi-Service Center on the southwest side of Houston. An eLibrary provides users access to computers, the internet, and email, along with more traditional library services, helping the city keep up with the increasingly fast-paced exchange of information. m ARCHITECTS design offers 3,600 square foot of contemporary and colorful space for children, teens, adults and staff. The design concept for this project won a 2004 AIA Houston Design Merit Award for its innovative approach to prototype design.
